Soon-to-be first daughter Ivanka Trump was proud of her father’s stunning election victory, and she should be — she was an instrumental part of it.
As a tireless spokeswoman for now-President-elect Donald Trump, Ivanka gave Americans a glimpse of what to expect of our new first family: poise, confidence, and a tireless work ethic. She campaigned from one coast to another right up until Election Day.
Ivanka, a successful businesswoman in her own right, spoke the fearless truth about her father’s commitment to equality and opportunity. She never wavered in her support of his candidacy and was often the public face of the family.
Donald Trump rode a wave of populist resentment to a stunning upset over Hillary Clinton to become the 45th President of the United States. On Wednesday, 35-year-old Ivanka shared her excitement about the election on her Instagram account.
“Thank you, America, for the trust that you placed in my father,” Trump wrote. “He will never let you down.”
Trump has been an ardent surrogate for her father, working tirelessly the last several months and hitting the campaign trail to bring home the win for him, according to a story by The Smoke Room.
With her sister Tiffany and her brother Donald Jr., she appeared Monday on the Sean Hannity Show, saying that her father had been “fueled” by supporters’ energy.
“I feel incredible. The spirit, enthusiasm, energy, the love and the support has been so tremendous. We feel very, very good,” said Ivanka. “You meet so many people and you hear their incredible stories. It’s the fuel that motivates you, and I see it every day.”
Ivanka also talked about her father’s now-famous energy and work ethic:
“Yesterday my father was in six states — it’s almost like he’s a machine. He’s buoyed and fueled by the energy of the people and by their belief in him as an agent of change.”
Ivanka’s impact has not escaped Donald Trump, and she will likely remain one of his most trusted advisers.
