Robert Gehl writes that in Portland last night, protesters chanting “Peaceful Protest! Peaceful Protest!” attacked a passing motorist in what is a perfect example of both liberal hypocrisy and the dangers of unchecked, Leftist fascism.
It got so bad in that city that the police had to officially upgrade the “Anti-Trump” rallies from a “demonstration” to a “riot,” and you can see why:
Marching down the street, rioters with baseball bats set upon a car dealership, smashing windows and causing general mayhem.

The Oregonian reports that the rioters refused to disperse, so they had to use flash-bangs, rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the violent crowd.

Outside Trump Tower in New York City, with a sign that reads “Love Trumps Hate,” they hung President-Elect Trump in effigy.
Here’s how their reporter on the scene, Jim Ryan, reported some of the events in Portland:
Tensions flared at times between protesters and motorists, with police tweeting they received reports of “vandalism and aggressive behavior” in the protest crowd. Altercations included a motorist’s windshield being cracked while she tried to navigate through protesters, saying she needed to tend to an emergency.
So this is the reaction from the left when they lose an election. Violence, mayhem, riots, destruction of property. It’s so bad that even some Leftists are trying to get them to stop.
But they will not listen. For they did not win, and they are like little children – who will pout and sulk and throw fits and piss and moan.
Until they realize the world will not end, the only “violence” in America will be by their own hands and the only thing keeping the country apart is them.
Then maybe – maybe – some of them will calm down, put their big-boy pants on, and get back to the work of making this country work again.
