As bomb after bomb continues to rain down on Donald Trump, “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough is skeptical. Not about the accusations from multiple women who are now coming forward in droves — but about the timing of the whole thing.
Scarborough questioned the October surprise on Thursday morning.
“I’m skeptical about the timing of all of this. Talk about an October surprise. When again, as you said, there have been a thousand triggering events that would have made sense.
If I had been sexually harassed by this man […] there have been a thousand of these reports already. I’m just asking why suddenly all of this stuff is blowing up in October.”
Scarborough need look no further that his own network to understand what’s going on.
“NBC Nightly News” Senior Editor Bradd Jaffy tweeted the following, yesterday:

Jaffy was referring to this exchange between moderator Anderson Cooper and Trump.
“For the record, are you saying, what you said on the bus 11 years ago, that you did not kiss women without consents or grope them without consent?”
Cooper persisted — three times — before Trump finally answered: “No, I have not.”
One — a skeptical one, such as this writer and Joe Scarborough — can envision liberal ‘journalists’ across America cheering in unison: “Yes! We got him!”
The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro called the exchange a set-up — and correctly predicted what would happen this week:
This exchange is the set-up. The next week is going to be the punch line. pic.twitter.com/yppE7KHvvL

Set-up or not, it’s getting to the point where you almost need a scorecard to keep track of all the women now coming forward to accuse Trump of sexual misconduct; here are five, just in the last 24 hours.
