It’s no secret that the left isn’t exactly a fan of Donald Trump. You can’t even open up a search page on the Internet these days, without running into some sort of hate article about the man and his opinions that probably hold more truth than anything Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton has ever said. And what these relentless attacks on the man prove is that the left fears him, and they should.
In recent comments regarding Trump, President Obama brought up the birth certificate issue. He also claimed that he has “not contributed” to the dividing of our country. Well that’s strange. If you’ll look back at the social climate before he took office, you might remember that police officers weren’t so widely hated, Black Lives Matter didn’t exist and every other story to hit the news wasn’t about racism.
The president then went on to blame Republicans for everything that’s gone wrong during his two terms in office.
Yes, the president claimed that Republicans created an environment, where somebody like Donald Trump could thrive. The man is ambitious, but it was the current political environment that’s allowing him to thrive, which is run by liberals.
“You know, I don’t think that I was the one to prompt questions about my birth certificate, for example. I don’t remember saying, ‘Hey, why don’t you ask me about that?’ ‘Why don’t you question whether I’m American or whether I’m loyal or whether I have America’s best interests at heart.’ Those aren’t things that were prompted by any actions of mine, and so what you’re seeing within the Republican Party is, to some degree, all of those efforts over a course of time creating an environment where somebody like a Donald Trump can thrive.”
This is what American politics have become, a blame game. It’s become a system of zero accountability, where our leaders are allowed to get away with lying, cheating and stealing. And those who tell the truth are crucified in the media. This is probably not what our founding fathers had in mind when they created this country.
