Conservatives have been concerned about reports of widespread voter fraud taking place across the country and having a negative impact on our elections, and a recent video from Project Veritas has proven that those concerns are legitimate.
In the video, an undercover journalist approached a polling place in New York City dressed in full burqa and asked to vote as Huma Abedin — Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s top aide.
The poll worker does not ask the journalist to remove her head covering or even show identification before handing her what should have been Abedin’s paper ballot.
The fraudulent situation was backdropped by another clip of Alan Schulkin, a commissioner on the board of elections in New York City, admitting that voter fraud— particularly by those using some sort of head covering — is an issue.
“Not only just voter ID because of voting twice, but people can cover their faces, you know what I’m saying,” another Project Veritas journalist prompted Schulkin.
“The Muslims can do that, too,” he replied. “You don’t know who they are.”
“They could do it by wearing a burqa,” the journalist pointed out to Schulkin. “No one could say ‘Oh, wait, let me see your ID’ … because they don’t want to discriminate” against someone wearing a burqa.
Schulkin admitted that some people’s vote may be not “counting” because “they (fraudulent voters) can go in there with a burqa on and you don’t know if they are a voter.”
“Your vote gets discounted because they come in with a burqa on and they can vote,” he explained, perfectly summing up every conservative’s argument for why the country needs more strict voter identification laws.
Meanwhile, further proving the point, the undercover burqa-clad journalist gives “Huma Abedin” as her name to a poll worker and isn’t questioned about it once. The only snag is that Abedin’s name isn’t listed in their official book, so the journalist will have to vote on a paper ballot instead of a machine — but her vote will count nonetheless.
