Presidential electors in Arizona are being terrorized by Clinton supporters.
Fox News reports that the 11 electors are being harassed in an effort to get them to cast their votes for Hillary Clinton on Dec. 19th.
And the Clinton supporters are being ruthless.
The electors have been flooded with hateful emails and endless phone calls. Elector Sharon Geise told Fox News that she no longer answers her phone after being contacted around 8,000 times.
Elector Robert Graham, who is chairman of the state Republican party, told the Arizona Republic:
“It is total harassment. It started about a week ago. Now? ‘Bam!’ It’s hardcore.”
Graham told the Republic one of the emails read:
“Your vote against Mr. Trump, a demagogue, would be the epitome of patriotism.”
Another elector, Bruce Ash, said that many of the calls and emails were accusatory:
“They demonize me, they call me a homophobic, an isolationist, a bigot, a misogynist, and an anti-Semite, which is interesting because I’m Jewish.”
Most of the anti-Trump activists cite the fact that Clinton seems likely to take the popular vote.

Similarly, a petition calling upon electors from all states to vote for Clinton in December has garnered over 4.5 million signatures online.
The petition reads:
“Mr. Trump is unfit to serve. His scapegoating of so many Americans, and his impulsivity, bullying, lying, admitted history of sexual assault, and utter lack of experience make him a danger to the Republic.”
The electors in Arizona were chosen by the state Republicans. As such, it is legal for them to vote for Clinton, despite the state’s voters’ choice of President-elect Trump.
