A public relations firm working with the faithless electors in the lead-up to the Electoral College vote on Dec. 19 has been shown to have ties to both Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama, the Daily Caller reported.
The Democrats have been working overtime to “threaten our democracy” in an effort to delegitimize and potentially overturn the election results. As Kellyanne Conway, a senior adviser to Donald Trump, noted Monday on CBS This Morning.
“We’re just surrounded by election deniers.” Conway said. “It’s always something other than Hillary Clinton’s fault as to why she lost.”
The Daily Caller reported:
The public relations firm working behind the scenes with the faithless electors is rife with ties to prominent Democrats like President Obama and twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
The firm was co-founded by Van Jones, the former green jobs czar in the Obama White House who later resigned after it was revealed he signed a statement questioning whether the Bush administration had a role in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Jones now works as a CNN commentator.
Molly Haigh, Megaphone’s cofounder and president, worked for Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. Haigh blames the Republican party’s “racist, misogynist, xenophobic fear mongering” for Trump’s rise to power.
Megaphone communications manager Diane May worked for Bernie Sanders on his 2016 presidential campaign. Megaphone’s website advertises the fact that May worked on both Obama presidential campaigns in 2008 and 2012.
Vien Truong, one of the firm’s four listed board members, headlined a Hillary Clinton fundraiser hosted last September by pro-Clinton environmentalist organization CleanTech Party. Truong also serves as the director of another Van Jones endeavor: Green for All, an environmentalist org that received a $200,000 cash infusion from left-wing financier George Soros through his Open Society Foundations as recently as 2010. Soros recently met with other liberal mega-donors to plot to their opposition to Trump, as first reported by Politico’s Ken Vogel.
Oh, but there’s no political motivation behind this crap, is there? This is just a little too cozy and a little too convenient, don’t you think?
The enormous opposition to Trump by big-money globalists is certainly in his favor for anyone that believes in national sovereignty. Trump is a huge threat to the progressive globalist agenda and they know it.
It was always hilarious to hear Clinton and the left claim that Trump threatened our democracy by asserting that he wouldn’t accept the election results if he lost and something was amiss, but it’s even more laughably absurd now.
The left hates this country and our democratic institutions. They want to fundamentally transform them, and Trump threatens to not only halt their agenda but to destroy it. They aren’t going to go down without a fight and if they can’t thwart the Electoral College vote on Dec. 19, the fight will have just started for the future of this country.
