When the cast of “Hamilton” decided to lecture Vice-President Mike Pence at the end of the show he attended, Leftists proudly proclaimed it as a victory for free speech, or democracy, or some such nonsense.
After all – a politician is in the audience and this is a show about American history and politics. What’s the harm in berating them with a one-sided lecture, right?
But it wasn’t quite that way when another politician expressed interest in the popular Broadway musical.
When Hillary Clinton was involved, she was given the red carpet treatment – and then some.
The creator of the play, Lin-Manuel Miranda, threw a fundraiser in October for the Presidential loser, filled with A-list celebs like Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Hugh Jackman and others. As The Blazepoints out, the reception was “several degrees above warm:”
And the hugs … oh, the hugs.
And don’t forget the selfies!
Clearly, the bias in the cast is wildly apparent. Pence was gracious, after hearing the boos and cheers, he leaned over and told his son “This is what freedom sounds like.” He even stayed and listened to their lecture.
What a class act.
The cast, on the other hand, has let their bias and political leanings shine through by treating Hillary Clinton like royalty and Mike Pence like an outsider.
Shame on them.
