CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin was left visibly stunned when one of her guest’s dropped the N-word on live TV while criticizing President-elect Donald Trump for associating himself with members of the “alt right.”
“If you don’t want to support the alt right, don’t choose as a White House counselor a man who uses the word n***r,” author Charles Kaiser said, referring to Stephen Bannon.
“Wow,” Baldwin responded.
CNN political commentator Paris Dennard, a black Trump supporter, also reacted in shock to hearing the white man using the incendiary and racially charged word.

Moments later, Baldwin broke down as she grappled with the fact that someone used the N-word on her show.
“We’re done,” she said. “The more I’ve sat here and listened to the fact that someone used the N-word on this show. It is not OK. It is not OK, Charles Kaiser.”

Baldwin also noted that she has never heard the claim that Bannon used the word.
“So there’s that. Take a break,” she concluded, clearly distressed.
