All you hear is outrage whenever it is revealed that anyone connected to President Trump met with the Russians, no matter how long ago the meeting took place.
If that is the standard that has been set, than it is only fair to expose Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2003.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
Schumer, who has called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign over his discussions with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak, met with the Russian president himself.
The picture above was taken in 2003 as Russian President Vladimir Putin, right, enjoys a Krispy Kreme doughnut and coffee with Senator Charles Schumer from New York as Putin visits the first New York gas station of the Russian company Lukoil.
The hysteria over Trump administration officials talking — or not talking — with Russia needs to end.
It’s getting in the way of putting America back on track.
Schumer met with Putin in New York City as russian oil company Lukoil opened a gas station in Manhattan.
On that day, Schumer described how he introduced Putin to Krispy Kreme doughnuts.
“When I showed the president of Russia a Krispy Kreme doughnut and he ate it and said it was good, that was one of the more surreal moments I’ve had in politics.”
