Meet Elvis Redzepagic, a man from Long Island, New York, who tried to join ISIS twice and threatened his parents.
“I just don’t like this country,” he said.
He claimed he was ready to “strap a bomb and on sacrifice himself for jihad.”
Not surprisingly, his lawyers are having him pull the “he’s crazy” card to try and get out of jail time.
100 Percent Fed Up reports:
The 26-year-old wore a blue jail jumpsuit and was handcuffed behind his back during a brief appearance before US District Court Judge Anne Shields in Central Islip.
Redzepagic’s lawyers also told Shields they would seek a psychological evaluation of their client, laying the foundation for a mental deficiency defense.
Redzepagic was arrested at his family’s home in Commack and charged with attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization.
When he was arrested, he allegedly told the police Islam is coming.
“I’m going to leave this country, and I’m going to come back with an Army – Islam is coming,” allegedly told police, according to a federal court complaint.
Hopefully he will get locked up for a long time.
