CNN’s Van Jones refused to take back comments he recently made praising President Trump.
“New Day” host Alisyn Camerota asked Jones if he wanted to “amend” his previous comments.
Camerota talked about a lot of the recent events surrounding Trump, like his State of the Union speech.
“No, this is live television. You have to be real in the moment,” said Jones, who went on to explain that Trump can make good and bad choices.
“In that moment, I’m proud, I’m human, I can still get teary-eyed even in a Trump speech,” Jones said.
Jones praised Trump for standing by the widow of William “Ryan” Owens and for honoring his sacrifice.
“I think we’ve got to get to the point, when somebody does somethings that’s effective, you can say it, and turn around four hours later and take them down on policy,” said Jones.
“It was an extraordinary moment,” he concluded.
Jones may be a focal part of the left-wing media apparatus, but he nailed it in this segment.
