Liberals don’t always make sense. When it came to “A Day Without a Woman” protest, liberals thought it would be a fantastic idea to have a man lead the protest.
Video from the Wednesday gathering revealed that it was a man leading chants for women’s rights at Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C.
The man was apparently self-identified as “black queer feminist” Preston Mitchum.
“When abortion rights are under attack, what do we do?” Mitchum yelled to the crowd.
“Act up, fight back!” the crowd responded.
“When trans lives are under attack, what do we do?” Mitchum asked.
“Act up, fight back!” the crowd answered.
“When women’s lives are under attack, what do we do?” quoth the cheerleader.
“Act up, fight back!” the crowd repeated again. Take a look, if you dare:
The protest was organized in order to protest for fair wages and called on them to “refrain from paid and unpaid work” and “refrain from shopping in stores or online” in order to demonstrate their economic power and significance.
There is nothing wrong with the cause, but next time have a woman lead a women’s rights protest.
