a strong woman who survived a horrific rape experienced is calling on women to carry guns to protect themselves.
Kimberly Corban, who was only 20 when she was brutally raped in 2006 inside of her own apartment at the University of Northern Colorado.
In Corban’s eyes, guns save lives and a gun would stop a lot of rapes from happening in the first place.
Corban says she now carries a gun everywhere, citing that she is trained to do so and that she doesn’t want to go through another horrific rape experience.
“I don’t carry because I worry about what could happen. I carry because I already know,” she told The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas.
Determined to save other women from going through the same thing, Corban teamed up with TurningPointUSA and started the “Trigger Warning Campus Tour,” where she tells her story and encourages other women to learn about gun safety and proper protection.

Corban has coined the following motto, “Being a victim is never a choice, but becoming a survivor is.”
Credit to Corban for being brave enough to share her story and for educating women about the importance of taking advantage of the Second Amendment. Guns are not a privilege in the United States, they are a right.
