A Texas man demonstrated the sheer stupidity of modern criminals when he streamed his 30 minute police chase on Facebook Live.
Erasmo Hernandez was originally flagged to pull over for a routine traffic stop. However, Hernandez had different plans and took off from the scene.
What followed next was a 30 minute police chase that he streamed.
“It’s not something I’ve seen in my career here in law enforcement, however, it’s the sign of the times,” Pasadena Police Officer Jessica Ramirez told Houston’s KPRC. “Everyone posts everything on social media nowadays.”
As Hernandez streamed the event, he looked at the camera and said, “I’m gone forever, man.”
He was eventually caught and charged for being a felon in possession of a weapon and for evading arrest.

What is our world coming to? Are criminals so desperate for attention now that they feel the need to broadcast the crimes they are committing for all to see? Insane.
