Sen. Rand Paul called out Sen. John McCain on Thursday after McCain suggested on Wednesday that Paul worked for the Russians.
Paul called McCain “unhinged” and said that he makes a good case for why term limits may be needed.
“What’s your reaction to Senator McCain’s characterization of your objection?” asked an MSNBC host.
“Well you know I think he makes a really really strong case, you know for term limits. Umm I think maybe he’s uh past his prime. I think maybe he’s gotten a little bit unhinged,” said Paul. “I do think that when we talk about NATO there can be a rational discussion about the pros and cons of expanding it.”
Paul might be on to something. McCain is clearly too old now and starting to lose his mind. Everything seems to have gone downhill for him after he failed to get elected in 2008.
