Ken Langone, businessman and co-founder of Home Depot, talked on CNBC’s Squawk Box Monday morning where he was all praises for U.S. President Donald Trump and was optimistic that he could become one of America’s best presidents.
“In this man, we have singular opportunity to get a lot done in this country,” Langone said during the interview.
He scoffed at people who continue to belittle Trump and he wasn’t concerned about his ability to lead the most powerful nation on the planet.
He even compared to Trump to Ronald Reagan, who was also ridiculed then mostly by liberals for just being a B-movie actor and someone they thought had no business in the Oval Office. Of course, Reagan would later prove them all wrong as they always are.
The successful investor and philanthropist also defended Trump’s daily tweeting and offered an explanation why the mainstream media hates him.
“The media hated him and continues to hate him. You wanna know why? Because the media is where it belongs – irrelevant.”
