Islam is rapidly expanding around the world and is expected to overtake Christianity within two decades and even become the world’s largest religion by 2075, according to a new report by the Pew Research Center.
In Europe, the number of deaths among Christians has outpaced the number of births by nearly six million between 2010 and 2015, The Daily Caller said.
While Christianity is dying out in Europe, the Muslim population is rapidly expanding. During that same period, the number of births among Muslims in Europe has outstripped the number of deaths by over two million.
In Germany, the number of deaths among Christians outnumbered the number of births by 1.4 million between 2010 and 2015. This pattern is expected to continue across much of the continent in the succeeding decades as Christian populations in Europe age and die, according to Pew.
