U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley ripped Russia during a U.N. Security Council meeting Wednesday accusing Moscow of choosing to “close their eyes to this barbarity” following the latest gas attacks in Syria.
Haley, clearly frustrated for the Security Council’s lack of action in Syria, wasted no time to declare that the Trump administration may take action in response to the latest chemical attacks linked to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
As representatives from Russia and Syria were looking on, Haley held up photos of victims of a suspected chemical weapons attack Tuesday that killed 100 people, including 25 children, and another 400 were injured, according to activists.
Haley urged the council to approve a draft resolution condemning and threatens punitive actions for the use of chemical weapons. Russia, which has vetoed previous resolutions, is opposing the draft resolution sponsored by the U.S., U.K. and France.

U.N. AMBASSADOR NIKKI HALEY JUST BLASTED the U.N. Security Council for sitting on its hands in the past. They have done nothing after past chemical weapons attacks by Syria’s Assad. He just gassed his people for the third time! Nikki Haley stood before the council holding photos of the Syrian children who were gassed.
