A throng of screaming liberal activists, including members of Black Lives Matter, headed to Claremont McKenna College in southern California on Thursday to disrupt the speech by conservative author Heather MacDonald, which forced the police to end the event early and escorted the author to safety, according to the Gateway Pundit.
Thirty minutes into the Manhattan Institute scholar’s lecture, she was asked by police to stop when protesters surrounding the building started pounding the windows while raucously chanting, “Black Lives Matter,” “f*ck the police,” and “f*ck white supremacy.”
Despite the disruption, the “The War on Cops” author was unfazed and continued her talk through livestream in an empty room.
The incident came just one day after MacDonald was also shouted at by left-wing protesters at a similar Blue Lives Matter talk at UCLA Wednesday.
Pro-black groups like Black Lives Matter are criticizing MacDonald for arguing that proactive action by the police has helped clamp down serious crime in predominantly black neighborhoods.
