Conservative political commentator Tomi Lahren has sued Glenn Beck and his media company, The Blaze, for breaching their employment contract alleging that she was fired after expressing her views on abortion, according to the Gateway Pundit.
In the lawsuit suit, which was filed Friday in Texas, Lahren said Beck and The Blaze removed her from her nightly talk show after appearing on “The View” last month where she made pro-choice comments.
Shortly after that interview, The Blaze suspended her indefinitely before she was completely terminated, according to court documents. Lahren said she received a call from The Blaze advising her that she was terminated and would no longer have any shows.
Brian Lauten, Lahren’s lawyer, tells CNN that her contact doesn’t allow The Blaze to terminate her for expressing her personal opinion abortion.
The Blaze responded by saying that Lahren remains under contract and is still being paid, so it puzzles them why she sued them for firing her.
