China’s foreign minister Wang Yi warned Friday that “conflict could break out at any moment” adding that there would be “no winner” in any war as tension over North Korea increases, according to the Gateway Pundit.
In a joint press conference with French foreign minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, Wang said tensions have increased recently “and one has the feeling that a conflict could break out at any moment.” “If a war occurs, the result is a situation in which everybody loses and there can be no winner,” he continued.
The stern warning came after President Donald Trump said the North Korean issue “will be taken care of” amid concerns that the communist regime is slated to make another nuclear or missile test. “If China decides to help, that would be great. If not, we will solve the problem without them.”
The Trump administration is concerned that Pyongyang might develop the ability to launch nuclear weapon at the U.S. mainland.
