Clashes broke out between Trump supporters and Antifa when the two forces met Saturday in Berkeley, California during a pro-Trump rally, resulting in 20 arrests and 11 injuries, according to a report by the Gateway Pundit, according to the Gateway Pundit.
More than 200 people gathered at the Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park where Trump supporters were holding a “Patriots Day” rally. In attendance for the pro-Trump side included members of the Montana-based Oath Keepers militia and a group of bikers.
Black-clad Antifa activists were also having their counter-demonstration.
Within just a few hours the situation went out of control when Antifa activists threw rocks, used tear gas, and released pepper spray at the Trump supporters. Cameras captured demonstrators burning flags, exchanging blows and tipping dumpsters.
This latest clash comes just two months after the riots that forced former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos’s to cancel his talk in UC Berkeley.
