President Donald Trump spent his Sunday morning reminding left wing activists across the country of who won the election, in case they haven’t received the memo.
The national protests during the weekend called on President Trump to release his tax returns, which also saw thousands of protesters gather in the streets of the nation’s capital to send the message even closer to him.
In California, demonstrations escalated to a brawl between Trump supporters and anti-Trump protesters. Violence erupted in Berkeley, California where more than 12 protesters were arrested.
President Trump has always reiterated that the protesters were organized and paid by outside groups out to discredit him from the start since winning the presidential elections in November. He tweeted, “Someone should look into who paid for the small organized rallies yesterday. The election is over!”
Trump then reminded the protesters of how the Democratic Party was stunned when he easily beat their nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “I did what was an almost an impossible thing to do for a Republican-easily won the Electoral College! Now Tax Returns are brought up again?”
