House Speaker Paul Ryan said President Donald Trump “always finds a way to get it done” when he talked about the man he didn’t like as a candidate in Time magazine’s annual 100 most influential people issue, 100% Fed Up reports.
Speaker Ryan lauded Trump for knowing how to turn something to a historic victory even when many, himself included, couldn’t see how he could pull it off.
He added that President Trump “completely rewrote the rules of politics and reset the course of this country,” in his brief comment about the president.
Other members of the Trump administration who made the list include Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and White House strategist Steve Bannon.
Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was tasked to write about Kushner, while Time’s Deputy Managing Editor Michael Duffy did the profile for Bannon.
Though the first legislative goal of Ryan and Trump ended in failure when they were unable to repeal and replace Obamacare, Ryan suggested that Trump will make good on his policy goals, including tax reform and immigration enforcement.
