American Airlines has apologized to a female passenger and suspended an employee after investigating a video that surfaced on social media showing an onboard confrontation over a baby stroller, 100% Fed Up reports.
In a statement Friday, the airline said, “What we see on this video does not reflect our values or how we care for our customers.”
The incident is the latest customer service embarrassment for a U.S. carrier and comes just two weeks after a United Airlines passenger was violently dragged from his seat and removed from the plane by Chicago aviation police.
The latest American Airlines incident was caught on video and was posted on Facebook Friday by another passenger on that San Francisco to Dallas flight.
It shows the confrontation between a flight attendant and a male passenger at the front of the aircraft while on the San Francisco tarmac.
The incident began over a dispute as to whether a female passenger holding a baby could take her stroller on the flight.
