Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered a stern warning Friday to one of the country’s most brutal gangs during a speech he gave when he visited Long Island, New York, the Gateway Pundit reports.
New York police recently found the bodies of four victims in Long Island that suffered repeated hacking from a machete that left unrecognizable, bearing the hallmarks of hyperviolent MS-13 transnational criminal gang.
In his speech, Sessions said, “I have a message to the gangs that are targeting our young people: We are targeting you. We are coming after you.”
Many members of the vicious El Salvadorian gang have arrived in the country illegally by crossing the border.
Echoing President Donald Trump’s tough immigration policy, Sessions said that violent gangs like MS-13 thrived because of the open borders policy and lax immigration laws.
New York Congressman Peter T. King, who invited Sessions to Long Island to meet with local police, was upset by the 200 protesters who gathered to express their distaste of the U.S. Attorney General.
“They should be on their knees thanking him, not out there protesting,” the Republican lawmaker said.
