Conservative radio talk host Laura Ingraham said Tuesday that Republicans in Congress will have “hell to pay” for the $1 trillion budget compromise that avoided a federal government shutdown until September and viewed by many as a win for Democrats.
During an interview with “Fox & Friends,” Ingraham said that Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi are “celebrating” the outcome.
She even held the day’s Washington Post issue, pointing to the headline , “Democrats claim win on spending.”
The spending bill did not include most in President Donald Trump’s wish list including funds for the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border.
However, it does include Democratic priorities such as funding for Planned Parenthood, refugee programs and sanctuary cities.
A furious Ingraham said, “I find this to be so demoralizing and disappointing. I think they’re gonna have hell to pay for this budget.” She also expressed doubts that the Republicans will bring spending under control in September.
100% Fed Up reports:
Laura Ingraham is dialed in on the Republican’s inability to get a good budget bill. She held up the Washington Post to show how Pelosi and Schumer are celebrating the victory of the budget. The Democrats got pretty much everything they wanted at the expense of the American people.
