Black graduate students at Harvard University will be hosting and attending a commencement ceremony intended solely for black students.
After almost a year in planning, the ceremony will happen on May 23, the same day when Harvard will also hold its third annual graduation ceremony for Hispanic students.
Organizers called the event Black Commencement 2017, and is the first universitywide ceremony for black students at the prestigious university.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
This type of event is disgusting and arrogant, but this isn’t new and shouldn’t be shocking to anyone.
“Ethnic minority groups” love to tell everyone just how D-I-F-F-E-R-E-N-T they are when it suits their needs and they resort to holding exclusive events, but when they are excluded from something, they feel the need to riot, loot, and vandalize to show just how much they DESERVE to be included – all under the guise of groups of like #BlackLivesMatter.
Over 530 guests and 170 students have signed up to attend. Black students, administrators and alumni will deliver speeches during the ceremony.
Ceremonies like these have also been held for students at Stanford, Temple, Columbia, and other campuses.
The graduate students who’ll join the event still plan to participate in the university’s main ceremony in late May.
