Kellyanne Conway on Tuesday dismissed allegations by MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski that she privately disliked Donald Trump and only took the job of working for him because of money, the Gateway Pundit reports.
In a statement, the White House counselor called the “insults and insinuations” by the two hosts against the president and the people around him, herself included, as “absurd” and not true.
“My beliefs, commitments and loyalties are plain to see,” Conway reiterates.
She also defended her record as a winning campaign manager. “I made a fraction of what other consultants have made on unsuccessful presidential campaigns,” Conway said.
She also said that she never regretted walking away from opportunities that would have made her millions of dollars and instead chose to join Trump’s White House.
During Monday’s show of “Morning Joe”, Brzezinski said that during the campaign Conway would praise Trump on air but would express her dislike of her candidate after the cameras are turned off.
