British authorities said 19 people died, with at least 50 others injured because of an explosion at Manchester Arena on Monday during a concert of American pop star Ariana Grande, 100% Fed Up reports.
Police are currently treating the incident as a “terrorist incident,” according to a statement from the Greater Manchester police during a news conference.
Investigators are focusing on a nail bomb as the possible weapon, according to British and U.S. media.
Witnesses reported nails were found at the scene as well as shrapnel-type injuries among victims in the aftermath of the explosion.
Several media organizations have also reported that there had been two explosions inside the venue.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May condemned the “appalling terrorist attack.” She has also decided to suspend her campaign for the general election.
