Former First lady Michelle Obama criticized President Donald Trump’s travel ban and his decision to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement.
She made the remarks on Tuesday during Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, California in front of thousands of computer programmers.
Obama said, “We are at a time in this country where we need problem solvers out there … who believe in the power of immigrants, believe that global warming is real,” she said.
“We need people out there who are operating with a level of empathy,” she continued.
The event was actually closed to the media, but that didn’t prevent the tech-savvy audience to live stream the activities inside the San Jose Convention Center on Twitter and Periscope.
Apple CEO Tim, who kept Obama’s appearance secret until Monday, described the former first lady as an inspiration for young people who strive to reach higher.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
The last time we saw Michelle Obama she was flaunting her poor fashion sense in Italy.
This week the former First Lady was a surprise guest at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in California.
She delivered a fireside chat where she trashed President Trump over global warming junk science and his temporary travel ban from failed Islamist states.
