First Lady Melania Trump and her son Barron finally joined President Donald Trump in the White House after almost five months of living apart.
The two had stayed in Trump Tower in Manhattan after inauguration in January until Trump’s youngest son finished the school year.
Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s communications director, tweeted on Sunday: “It’s official! @FLOTUS & Barron have made the move to DC!”
Upon arriving at the White House on Sunday evening, Melania also tweeted: “Looking forward to the memories we’ll make in our new home! #Movingday.”
Last month, Melania said that her 11-year-old son would attend a Maryland private school in the fall, pointing to a move to the White House.
The only question left is when will be their move-in date and the first lady ended all speculations on Sunday.
The Daily Caller reports:
The family returned to the Washington after a weekend at President Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. Barron was wearing a shirt that read “The Expert,” and playing with a fidget spinner, a toy that is the new craze.
Melania later tweeted a view from the White House and wrote that she’s “looking forward to the memories we’ll make in our new home!”
