The Secret Service said Tuesday that they questioned comedian Kathy Griffin for her photoshoot last month where she was holding a fake bloody head of President Donald Trump, the Gateway Pundit reports.
Secret Service agents were able to locate Griffin and personally interviewed her for over an hour on Monday.
Griffin’s lawyer Dmitry Gorin said last month that the actress is going to give her full cooperation to the investigation, and reiterating that Griffin was just exercising her constitutional rights to tell a joke.
Since the photograph and video emerged online, Griffin lost several jobs and sponsorships, including her New Year’s Eve gig at CNN as co-host with Anderson Cooper.
The investigation into the Griffin’s actions remains open and currently in the interview process.
Many believe that Griffin is unlikely going to be arrested over the fake head photo.
