David Letterman said in an interview that people criticizing President Donald need to “stop whining” and instead find a way to oust him from office.
During an interview with The Associated Press on Monday, Letterman said he’s getting sick of watching on cable news of people saying “there’s something wrong” on a daily basis.
The former late night show host said these people just need to figure out a way to remove Trump from office. “I just think we ought to direct our resources and our energies to doing something about it.”
He described Trump’s behavior as “insulting” to the country, and said people shouldn’t even be victimized by the president’s “ignorance.”
He went further by saying Trump is not even capable of running Dairy Queen or is not good enough to work at Gap.
“Let’s just stop whining about what a goon he is and figure out a way to take him aside and put him in a home,” Letterman continued.
