A former Haitian government official was found dead Tuesday in a motel room in Miami with a gunshot wound in what the Miami-Dade medical examiner’s office ruled as an apparent suicide.
Veronica Lamar, the Miami-Dade medical examiner records supervisor, listed the time of Klaus Eberwein’s death at 12:19 p.m. “He shot himself in the head,” she said.
The police discovered his lifeless body at the Quality Inn located on 14501 S. Dixie Hwy.
The 50 year-old is a former director general of Haiti’s economic development agency, the position he assumed between May 2012 and February 2015.
Eberwein, a supporter of former Haitian President Michel Martelly, is also a partner in Haiti’s popular pizza restaurant called Muncheez, which even has a pizza named after him, the Klaus Special.
Eberwein was scheduled to testify next Tuesday before the Haitian Senate Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission where he would likely say that the Clinton Foundation misappropriated Haiti earthquake donations from international sources.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
Former Haitian government Klaus Eberwein was found dead in a motel room earlier this week from a gunshot wound to the head. The Miami-Dade medical examiner is ruling it a suicide.
What’s suspicious about this ‘suicide’? Eberwein was set to testify against the Clinton Foundation. Interesting.
