Sportswear brand Reebok mocked President Donald Trump’s compliment to French First Lady Brigitte Macron during the president’s visit to France last week, 100% Fed Up reports.
On Friday, the company posted on its Twitter account a graphic chart labeled “When is it appropriate to say, ‘You’re in such good shape…beautiful.’”
It outlines a few scenarios including “Are you a world leader greeting the spouse of a head of state?” in which Reebok advises, “No.”
At the sidelines of Trump’s visit to Paris for Bastille Day, the president complimented President Emmanuel Macron’s wife as “beautiful” and “in such good shape.”
The visit to the French capital gave Macron plenty of face time with the U.S. leader, including a lavish dinner inside the famous Eiffel Tower.
Trump has previously been vilified by the media on several occasions for his views of women. He was recently criticized for attacking the co-host of MSNBC’s”Morning Joe” Mika Brezezinski on Twitter.
