Palestinian-American activist and Woman’s March organizer Linda Sarsour claims CNN anchor Jake Tapper is a member of the white nationalist movement known as the alt-right, The Daily Caller reports.
This comes as Tapper questioned why prominent progressives are not condemning convicted cop killer Assata Shakur.
Several far-left groups and personalities, including Sarsour and the Women’s March, have taken to Twitter to greet the domestic terrorist on her birthday and some even praised her work as “revolutionary.”
In criticizing Sarsour and the Women’s March, Tapper even referenced the left-wing activist’s recent “ugly sentiments” and the anti-Semitic statements made by an LGBT activist group in Chicago.
Sarsour, who is also a Sharia Law advocate and a known terrorist sympathizer, responded to Tapper’s remarks by accusing him of being part of the “alt-right” movement.
Alicia Garza, a co-founder of Black Lives Matter, defended Sarsour and accused the news anchor’s claims as “inflammatory.”
Tapper responded to Garza by tweeting: “How about being part of a gang that kills a NJ State Trooper? Is that considered inflammatory?”
