Lawyers of the Minneapolis policeman who shot dead an unarmed Australian woman said that they would like her autopsy reviewed to check for possible drugs in her system during the incident, 100% Fed Up reports.
Tom Plunkett, attorney for Mohamed Noor, said they want to check if Justine Damond used sleeping pills that night.
“It would be nice to know if there was any Ambien in her system,” Plunkett said.
Plunkett also confirmed that Noor will still not talk to investigators.
The Damond’s family in Australia angrily responded to the comments of Noor’s lawyers, calling their remarks as “sickening.”
They are also demanding answers over her death. The 40-year-old Damond was shot by Noor who was responding with a fellow officer to her 911 call to report a sexual assault occurring near her home.
