Fox Business News anchor Stuart Varney said that the record-breaking gains in the stock market attributed to the so-called “Trump rally” has boosted American wealth by $4 trillion in just six months since President Donald Trump took office, 100% Fed Up reports.
On July 19, the Dow Jones Industrial Average set its 26th record high close of 2017, which means the “Trump rally” has also increased people’s wealth through their 401k, IRA, retirement savings, mutual funds and college savings.
The rally started after Trump was declared the victor of the 2016 presidential election that brought optimism that he will push for tax reform and other policies that will spur economic growth.
“His growth agenda turned on investors and when the swamp stalled that growth plan, profits went up big time and stocks went up some more,” the host said.
Varney also blasted the mainstream media for giving President Trump “overwhelming negative” coverage.
Varney wrote in his column on the Fox News website: “Let’s hope, hate loses, and growth wins. Six months in, it’s the hope of growth that’s making America $4 trillion richer.”
