Members of the vicious MS-13 gang were interviewed on CNN and blasted President Donald Trump for his aggressive crackdown on their gang, which they said is only making them “stronger,” the Gateway Pundit reports.
In the interview of gang members that aired on CNN Friday, they said Trump’s tough enforcement of immigration laws make illegal immigrants wary of reporting violence committed by the gang to the police for fear they themselves will get deported.
For this reason they said that Trump’s crackdown on illegal immigration is making the MS-13 “stronger.”
CNN correspondent Dan Lieberman said the gang members told him that the level of fear among illegal immigrants is so high that it has actually emboldened the gang.
The FBI said MS-13 has committed more than 20 killings on Long Island over the last two years, drawing national attention to its brutality.
In April, Attorney General Jeff Sessions visited Central Islip and publicly declared to go after MS-13 aggressively. “We are targeting you, we are coming after you,” Sessions said.
