Almost a million illegal immigrants living in California will have drivers license by the end of 2017, the Gateway Pundit reports.
This is a result of the State of California passing Assembly Bill 60 in 2013 that allowed illegal aliens to get a driver’s license if they can provide proof of their identity and state residency to the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV).
AB 60 was passed after over 15 years of lobbying by open-borders advocates, who said the measure aimed to improve public safety and lower penalties for illegal immigrants who drive.
By the end of June this year, roughly 905,000 illegal aliens have been issued with driver’s licenses in the Golden State, according to the Sacramento Bee.
In the January to June period alone, California issued over 83,000 driver licenses to illegal aliens.
Groups linked to billionaire investor and liberal advocate George Soros are also reportedly pushing a plan that would make it illegal for Americans not to accommodate illegal aliens looking to rent a residence because of their immigration status, according to Breitbart Texas.
