Hollywood star Ashley Judd was on Facebook Live over the weekend detailing her experience in a German airport where she complained of “sexism,” the Young Conservatives reports.
The outspoken feminist’s told viewers that her ordeal began when she met an airport security worker who called her “Hey sweetheart.”
She pushed back by telling the man, “I’m not your sweetheart. I am your client.”
But the worker was not done yet. While she was setting her things out, he told her “Hey, nice dress.”
Judd even claimed that he was touched by the man, although she did not elaborate how, and was told “Have a good day sweetheart.”
The combative actress said she spoke to the manager to report the incident and received an apology.
Her video, which was viewed almost 2 million times, drew ire over her feminist stance. Some say she went too far by threatening the man’s livelihood because she did not appreciate the endearing word “sweetheart.”
