Police are searching for two women dressed as nuns who attempted a bank robbery in the Poconos in Pennsylvania Monday, Conservative Tribune reports.
The two women were armed when they entered a Citizens Bank branch in Tannersville just after noon.
One of the women is seen in the video carrying what appears like a handgun and demanded money from the bank staff at the counter while the other was waiting at the door, according to authorities.
Local police and federal agents are seeking the help of the public in identifying the suspects.
But the two took off empty handed after an automatic alarm was triggered, the Ponoco Record newspaper reported.
The two suspects are described as Hispanic females, around 5-feet to 5-feet-2-inches tall and of medium build. They are considered armed and dangerous, the police said.
