Eric Chase Bolling, the son of former Fox News host Eric Bolling, died on Friday night, just hours after news of this father’s ouster from the network went public, Daily Mail reports.
The tragic news of his 19-year-old son’s death was confirmed by Bolling on Saturday. He wrote in a tweet, “Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated.”
Although cause of death has not determined, police said that Eric may have died in an “unintended” manner. An autopsy will not take place until Monday, according to a family friend.
Prior to his firing this week, Bolling was one of network’s best-known conservative hosts, appearing in shows such as “The Five.”
But Fox News suspended Bolling and launched an investigation into allegations by three female colleagues that he sent them photos of the male genitalia through text.
Bolling, a former trader and a Trump supporter, decided to sever ties with the news channel.
