Seven people who are non U.S. citizens were indicted in Ohio on charges that they voted illegally between 2012 and 2016.
Franklin County prosecutor Ron O’Brien said the seven registered and voted in the county, including the 2012, 2015 and the 2016 elections.
He said they declared in their voter registration applications that they were American citizens. The grand jury indicted them for counts of illegal voting and/or false voter registration.
The Goldwater reports:
So far indictments have been returned against the following illegal aliens:
56 year old Ana Matias, 41 year old Irnatine W. Boayue, 33 year old Janitha Rippey, 38 year old Kenyron O. Glasgow, 41 year old Yaakov Menashe Schulman, 56 year old Leslie Caroline Allen, and 59 year old Gilbert A. Brown.
O’Brien said the prosecutor’s office also determined that some non-citizens registered and voted even though they checked a box in the questionnaire indicating they were not U.S. citizens.
He added those people were not prosecuted but were taken out from the voter list.
In a statement, O’Brien said, “It is illegal for people to register and vote if they are not United States citizens”
