A woman from Maine insists on keeping her pro-Trump sign in her lawn even if that means she’ll go to jail for it, 100% Fed Up reports.
Susan Reitman, a resident of Rockland, ME, is displaying two signs in her home that read “He Won, Get over it” and “I Love Trump.”
But Rockland’s code enforcement officer has notified her that she violated a local ordinance by having signs that are bigger than the town allows.
In the ordinance, residential signs should not exceed two square feet, while Reitman’s signs are a little bigger than three feet by two feet.
In a state where Democrats are more popular, it wasn’t surprising that another resident complained about the size of the Reitman’s signs. If she doesn’t remove the sign by Friday, she could be fined from $100 to $1,000 each day.
But Reitman told local media that she has no intention of taking down the signs or paying any fees. “If I have to sit in jail for the rest of eternity, that’s my choice,” she said.
