Don’t threaten the American military or there will be consequences.
On Tuesday, Iranian ships tried to threaten a flotilla that contained the USS George H.W. Bush.
The Iranian ships turned their weapons on the flotilla, prompting a hilarious response from the USS George H.W. Bush.
As the Iranian vessels moved in, US helicopters were deployed to hover directly over the Iranian vessels.
“What I don’t like about that is they were in the middle of international transit waters. We had a right to be there, as we were exercising freedom of navigation on our way into the Arabian Gulf,” Rear Adm. Kenneth Whitesell stated.
The incident eventually cooled down and no shots were fired, but it highlighted how tense the relations are between the two nations.
Iran later denied that the incident took place.
“We emphasize that the Americans would be responsible for any unrest in the Persian Gulf, and again warn that the U.S. military must change its behavior,” Iranian Brig. Gen. Masoud Jazayeri stated.
