A no-nonsense Army Ranger told Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt on Thursday that liberal snowflakes need to get a grip with reality.
Speaking with Earhardt, military veteran Sean Parnell said that liberals protesting Chick-fil-A need to “toughen up.”
“If you’re going to be successful in this life after you leave college, you’ve got to learn to embrace diversity and open yourself up to a litany of different opinions,” he added. “You’ll never be a CEO of a major company or an entrepreneur or a manager if you’re not willing to work with people that are different than you, period, end of story.”
Liberals have been protesting Dusquesne University and its decision to open a Chick-fil-A restaurant, saying that it violates their “safe space.”
Parnell was having none of it.
“Nobody is forcing them to eat at Chick-fil-A,” he said. “They can eat at the student union where I ate at everyday. They had pepperoni rolls there. They’re delightful. Lots of options, people.”
He called the students out for acting like fascists and for trying to “shut down (Chick-fil-A’s) business.”
“That is not what America was founded on,” the former army ranger concluded.
Entitled liberals are out of control in this country. It seems like their feelings get hurt every week by something new. Parnell hit the nail on the head when he said they need to toughen up. The real world will not tolerate this kind of behavior and it has no place in our society.
