House Speaker Paul Ryan likes to pretend he is willing to work with President Donald Trump, but we all know that he has no interest in doing that and that he would like nothing more than to see Trump fail.
During the election, Ryan refused to endorse Trump until the very end. Last month, he handed Trump an explosive healthcare bill that was doomed to fail, and now he is threatening not to fund Trump’s wall.
Voters are finally catching on to his nastiness. The latest results of an approval ratings poll has revealed that Ryan is universally disliked, so much so, that he came in lower than former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Perhaps it is time for Ryan to step down and for someone more qualified and dedicated to the Republican Party to take control of the House. Ryan has been nothing but a disaster and he has continuously embarrassed the Republican Party with his poorly constructed bills and ideas.
